~* Cornus kousa "Satomi" *~

My popsicle pink dogwood is in full bloom and more beautiful than ever!
It was a Mother's Day gift a few years back from my husband and kids!
It takes a few years to mature before the flowers actually get this pink so I am really enjoying the beauty of it this year! I was beginning to think it was a dud!
But as you can clearly see, they are truly pink now!

That is an absolutely beautiful tree! My mom had planted one when I was born...and it bloomed..once (with only like, 2 blooms) and then was just branches most of my life till my mom finally broke down and realized there was no hope for it! Yours looks gorgeous and I hope it continues to blossom for years to come! :)
