...and I really love it there. It is housing some of my snowmen now but after the holidays I think I will decorate it with some of my tea cups!
The holidays were wonderful. We got to visit with family and Christmas morning breakfast was perfect again this year! Santa (Dan) was very good to me this year. I got 6 new beads for my bracelet, 2 pairs of Crocs, lots of hazelnut chocolates, some new pink kitchen gadgets, sweatshirts, 2008 Farmer's Almanac, a new pink pocket calendar, lots of new snowmen around the house, a digital picture frame and keychain and a CAMERA TRIPOD!!! No more blurry flashless pictures!!! Ofcourse I had to try it right away! It is AWESOME!

Then we went to see the lights. It was so bitterly cold we practically ran through the plaza. The lights were beautiful as usual, and I would have gotten so many more pictures if it weren't for the fact that we were freezing!!!
Not even anyone else there to take a family picture for us!
Maybe there will be another time we can go and take some better pictures!

Watched about a million Christmas movies...gosh they are all so sappy.
Oh yeah, even Little House on the Prairie had a tear jerker Christmas special!
And, of course, we had another storm this weekend. We didn't get much but some sleet...but it was enough to make things messy outside. Today we have a school delay, I can't see why, the roads are clean and dry...but here we are, waiting till it is time to go to school.

I really like this guy, he is sorta primitive, but still so cute!
It's time to get the Christmas china out and create my Chrismas morning menu and shopping list. With the kids not being so little anymore breakfast is moved back from 7 am. When they were little and woke Christmas morning I didn't want them to have to wait for Grandma and Papa and any uncles or aunts showing up to open their presents, so we had breakfast early. Now, we can sleep late. And I don't have to wake up at 5 am to get the food ready!
He asked about the phone and the sign and the pastor answered that this golden phone is, in fact, a direct line to heaven and if he pays the price he can talk directly to God. The man thanked the pastor and continued on his way.
"Son, you're in Boston now, home of the Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics!
You're in God's Country- It's a local call.”

With the holidays rapidly approaching I have to spend considerable time now doing what shopping I have left, finish decorating the house and bake cookies as well as finish making some ornies! Busy busy busy for the next 2 weeks. I love it, though since this is my favorite holiday time!

Joy of joys, for Matthew's birthday he asked for a 3 foot sub from Big Y. Talk about making my job easy, all I have to do now is order the cake! And clean!!!
